2023 Colors of the Year
The colors of the year, greeted with much anticipation, influence everything from interior aesthetics and fashion to appliances and electronics. And while last year’s colors primarily spotlighted shades of green, reflecting our desire to commune with nature, the lineup for 2023 welcomes in (for the most part) warmer hues.

Pretty in White and Pink
Blank Canvas—the Behr selection for color of the year—is a welcoming off-white that invites creativity. This shade harmonizes with a variety of tones, including colors on the warmer side of the color wheel, making it an ideal partner for the picks from Sherwin-Williams and Dunn-Edwards.
A mid-tone neutral between blush and beige, Redend Point from Sherwin-Williams is cozy, with subtle pink undertones that complement an array of décor styles.
In a similar vein is Terra Rosa, a soothing, rosy pink. This pick, from Dunn-Edwards, exudes a touch of terra cotta, and works as a grounding neutral as well as a delicate accent.
Electric Hues
Looking for a balance between warm and cool? And maybe a little pop and personality? Benjamin Moore has you covered, courtesy of Raspberry Blush. A vibrant coral tinged with pink, Raspberry Blush makes a statement on its own or as an accent color.
Then there’s Viva Magenta, Pantone’s color of the year. Rooted in nature, this vibrant and nuanced shade of crimson red also strikes a balance between warm and cool. Exuberant and powerful, Viva Magenta expresses joy, optimism and inclusivity.
Pinks and reds aren’t the only showstoppers this year, though. Rich, cooler colors are getting their chance to take center stage, too. Such is the case with Vining Ivy, named color of the year by both PPG and Glidden.
This luxurious, beautiful fusion of blue and green invokes the Caribbean’s turquoise waters—and the continued interest of incorporating nature into our everyday lives.
