ABOUT US
After years in the corporate world, owner Steve Kern wanted a more fulfilling career path for his wife Mallory and him. Steve spent over a year learning the window coverings business as an apprentice to the legendary Paul Berger, ultimately acquiring Paul's book of business and forming Better by Design. In addition to Steve, we've got a great team of installers who collectively have over 50 years of experience, specializing in shade, blind and shutter installation.
