Alternative Faux Wood Blinds

Use a soft clean cloth, dust cloth or dusting mitt. Lower blind to its full length, tilt slats almost all the way down and dust. Not closing all the way allows dusting where the slats overlap.

• Blinds may be vacuumed using a brush attachment.

• When cleaning any window, spray glass cleaner on a cloth rather than directly on the window. This will prevent damage to the finish from splattering cleaner.

Note: Ultrasonic cleaning or use of chemical solvents and scrubbing cleansers are not recommended. They will damage the product.

Real Wood Blinds

Use a soft clean cloth, dust cloth or dusting mitt. Lower blind to its full length, tilt slats almost all the way down and dust. Not closing all the way allows dusting where the slats overlap.

• Blinds may be vacuumed using a brush attachment.

• Protect all fine wood products from exposure to steam, high moisture areas, rain or sprinkler systems to ensure their long life.

• When cleaning any window, spray glass cleaner on a cloth rather than directly on the window. This will prevent damage to the finish from splattering cleaner.

• Stained blinds, like wood furniture, should be treated periodically with lemon oil or other wood preservative to protect their finish and enhance their luster.

Note: Ultrasonic cleaning or use of chemical solvents and scrubbing cleansers are not recommended. They will damage the product.
