Join Hunter Douglas at the Epicenter of Modern Design

This year, Hunter Douglas is thrilled to join the festivities as the exclusive window coverings sponsor of Modernism Week. Embracing sleek, modern design, Hunter Douglas will be prominently featured in the Christopher Kennedy Compound, a Modernism Week staple named the “#1 Must-See Event of Modernism Week” by The Hollywood Reporter for the past five years. Christopher assembled 12 of the nation’s most prominent interior designers to create unique rooms that completely transform this decorator showcase house. The public is invited to tour the posh property, which will also host a red carpet gala with proceeds benefitting Modernism Week and local preservation efforts.

Visitors can also spot Hunter Douglas window shades during exclusive tours of the Modernism Week Featured Homes. They’ll be on view at the Desert Eichler, a modernized version of an original Eichler house designed by Anshen + Allen and outfitted by homeowners Brad and Heather Fox, stars of HGTV’s “Stay or Sell”; in the tony Vista Las Palmas neighborhood’s La Vie en Rose home, built in 1958 by the Alexander Construction Company and modernized by interior designer Christopher Kennedy; and at Green Gables, designed by Palmer & Krisel, built in 1958 by the Alexander Construction Company and renovated by H3K Design.

With every project, design enthusiasts will be able to experience how designers balance a mid-century modern ethos with contemporary details to meet today’s lifestyle needs.
