With RF-only radio frequency systems, the operating signal from the remote control is "broadcast" like a radio transmitter. As with the RF mode of Platinum™ Technology, line-of-sight to a receiver eye is not necessary; in fact, with Hunter Douglas RF-only systems, the receiver is built into the motor, providing remote control window treatment operation (ideal for our woven wood shades, roller shades and screen shades). To enhance the operation of an RF system, these optional components are offered:

• A wireless wall switch allows the shades to be operated from a stationary position.
  
• A wireless timer operates shades automatically at pre-programmed times.
