My house is blah, and I am in a rut because all I see is beige! Where can I find some color inspiration?
I can see why we need to add some color to your life! Here are a few places I go for inspiration:
The park: Here, you'll find Mother Nature's color palette—lush greens and rich golds, and the many other colors of wildflowers.
A garden center: Like a beautiful arrangement of flowers, mix and match different color combinations. Try purples, pinks, and whites. Or how about a combo of purple, red, and orange? Don't forget about the vibrant greens, too.
An art gallery: What artwork are you drawn to? What colors did the artist use—and which ones are most attractive to you?
A discount home store: Peruse the artwork, patterned pillows, and even the dishes. What catches your eye?
The fruit and vegetable section of your grocery store: Think of the color combination of an apple, a pear, and a banana; or the colors of peppers (red, yellow, and green). All of these are "appealing" variations.
