My windows are small. How can I make them look bigger?

For small windows, I often recommend horizontal window treatment such as our Parkland™ Genuine Woods blinds or EverWood^® 2" blinds. Just like with clothing, horizontal lines tend to accentuate width (this is why you will never see stripes around my hips!). If you want your window to look wider, go with a horizontal blind. Also, if you select a window treatment to blend in with the color of your wall, it has a tendency to make your window look bigger. If you want to make your window look longer, select a vertically hung product such as our Luminette^® Privacy Sheers, Skyline^® Gliding Window Panels or Somner^® Custom Vertical Blinds. They add visual height to your window, especially if you go with an outside mounting.
