Motorization
Do I need to run wires?
No wiring is needed for products with PowerRise® or PowerTilt™ systems. Batteries or an optional plug-in power supply can be used to provide power to the shade. PowerGlide® 2.0 systems do not offer a battery solution and require that the power supply that comes with the window covering be used.
Hunter Douglas also provides hard-wired motorized shades for various applications.
